J&H Pharma Consultants is a recognized pharma consultant providing end-to-end technical services to establish greenfield API pharma projects, from concept to commissioning, in compliance with cGMP, WHO, USFDA, EU-GMP, and GEP guidelines.
With over three decades of hands-on experience, the firm has designed more than 100 WHO/USFDA-approved API and API intermediate plants across chemical synthesis, steroids, hormones, vitamins, and oncology segments.
Projects are designed using Quality by Design (QbD) and Efficient by Design (EbD) principles, integrating extensive regulatory checklists and energy-efficient systems to ensure full compliance, operational excellence, and reduced energy consumption compared to conventional plant design.
We design the API PHARMA Production plant on “QUAILITY BY DESIGN CONCEPT”(QBD)by accommodating about 55 requisites which makes the plant comply with GMP requirements as well easy in operation ,maintenance and efficient in productivity.

Ownership of Project: We take ownership of entire project from Conceptualization to successful Commissioning of the plant. Our scope is not limited to design only, we ensure the quality delivered from all the vendors and executed by contractors at site as per design to get desired output of the plant in totality.
Value Added Design: We provide VALUE ADDED DESIGN to Establish the facility at Optimized Cost as well as to Operate and Maintain the plant efficiently.
Operation Efficiency: Our plant design is not limited to the provide detail engineering to establish only an Ideal Auditable API plant but we also incorporate the value-added engineering systems in the design to make the plant operation and maintenance efficient without any extra care or cost, which is more important and beneficial to our client throughout the lifespan of project.
Strict Quality Check Points: Our plant design passes through more than 500 checklists which makes the plant more stringent and fully compliant with cGMP/USFDA guidelines as well as energy efficient.
Energy Efficient plant Design: We have developed & incorporated about 30 Energy saving systems in plant and utility design which saves about 15% power and fuel, making the entire facility Energy efficient in compare to conventionally designed plants.
Synchronization between Production and Utility: Production of API is a Batch Manufacturing process. Utility of API plant is designed for Peak Load production and it consumes about 40% power of the plant. We design the Utility system of plant to get it synchronized with plant at part load production capacity to minimize the Utility Cost/ Kg of product cost, at part load production also.
Balancing of CAPEX and OPEX: We optimize the plant design to balance the CAREX & OPEX of the plant to reduce the ROI period of the project.
Intact RCC structure Design: We Incorporate around 150 cutout/holes and 175 insert plates in our civil design of the plant to avoid wall breaking, core cutting and chemical anchoring in the plant after construction of plant. Which reduces the construction cost, saves time as well keeps the strength of the plant structure intact.

Apart from conventional design of utilities we provide following valued added utility design to improve the efficiency of Generation & Distribution system of respective utilities & reduce the power cost substantially which is very crucial for operation of plant efficiently.
We provide Unique 3D design of Utility Manifolds of Reactor & Condenser to reduce the pressure drop across the utility distribution system subsequently reducing the power consumption about 10 to 15% ,improve the heat transfer rate of the process equipment, occupy only 1/3rd space of plant & reduce the plant piping by 20%.
We design simple Utility Monitoring System to optimize the utilization of each utility & improve the efficiency of the system as well as improve the heat transfer rate of equipments, productivity & quality of product.
